I have visited this place with my mum for pint of beer and light food. We sat outside waiters were not acknowledging to bring the menu i had to ask myself. I wanted to order half of portion of mussels as 1kg of them is too much, waiter said they cannot do that, was the first suspect of frozen portioned mussels (makes sense when you read reviews of people complaining about ice in pot). So we ordered goat cheese duo salad and garlic bread. Goat cheese duo salad came as trio, two deep fried and one normal. I tried both cheese and clearly the deep fried one was different taste from not fried one as it tasted sour and clearly off. Garlic bread had salad which contained almost moldy looking end piece of salad. As i tried solve the issue and get waiters attention i was clearly ignored for about 10mins. We had eye contact and clearly they were trying to ignore the upcoming complain as they probably used to it, acording to other reviews. Once the waiter came i explained the situation, he said he's going to speak with someone. Other waiter came to hear the story and went to speak with the chef. Came back with replacement cheese piece and small salad bowl he didn't ask if i want replacement or anything about situation. As he brought the food i explained i didn't want the replacement. Things started to go wild from there, i told that im not willing to pay for the dishes. He instantly started shouting 'who are you that you're not willing to pay?' 'I don't care, i don't care you will pay or will call police'. I said please call the police cause situation started to become very aggresive and ridiculous. We were surounded by 3 tables of local people. As waiter was pretending to call police, after another 10mins restaurant owner probably came. I explained the situation as wanted to clear that it's fine i just not willing to pay for the dishes and i don't need any problems and attention from everyone. The owner explained that he's very sure that cheese is right, that no one ever complained. As i offered him to tried both of them to tell me that they taste the same i was refused as he continued to say 'I worked in 3 michelin star restaurant i know the food that comes out is right, as same as BMW owner knows every BMW is right'. Owner logic didn't made any sense as the only thing that he cared about was to pay the bill that he came with. As situation became more and more ridiculous, i just decided to pay as there is no point to waste time getting police and ruining the night for few euros instead wasting an hour waiting police to come. I would advise not going anyone to place like this as tourists. Unless you want overpay frozen, poor quality food and waste time talking with police surrounded by local people.L
