We are behind the organisation, promoting and safeguarding of football in Malta and Gozo while highlighting the importance of banning ethnicity, colour or creed prejudice. What our members get from us, is an uplifting and positive effect on the lives of people from all walks of life (with zero discrimination).

We at the MFA support every aspect of Maltese football through planning the matches, coaching, refereeing Read Moreand nurturing of the younger football players in various sports complexes. There are 53 clubs and 13 member associations which run under our organisation, this plays a huge role in executing football competitions for the clubs or affiliated teams.

Our valued members and players have developed and gained important skills through our sports clubs and complexes. These include teamwork, discipline, physical strength, fitness and a good work ethic.

We train and nurture different dedicated national teams such as the under-19s, the under 21s and the Futsal teams. Women's football is increasingly growing in popularity and the women's team represent Malta at the national and club level. We also oversee The Malta Youth Football Association for players under 17.
